Gears Tactics is the fast-paced, turn-based strategy game from one of the most-acclaimed video game franchises Gears of War. I am extremely proud to share with you some of the fantastic work the artists put into this game. I want to thank everyone at Splash Damage and The Coalition who made Gears Tactics possible. For Gears Tactics we had the privilege to be able to play in the classic era of the franchise before the events of the first Gears of War and tell a new story with characters and locations that are new to the audience. The ongoing challenge of Gears Tactics has been to create something that is undeniably Gears even when seen through the lens of a new game genre, but also brings something new and exciting to the experience. Overall Gears Tactics ' length is very much in line with. Act 1 has 6 chapters while Acts 2 and 3 both have 8 chapters. They’re a great group of people and I was consistently impressed with the talent and dedication they all brought to the project. As for Gears Tactics ' chapters, each act has several chapters. I spent a lot of time at the studio with the artists and the art direction team of Tim Appleby and Malte Langheim. I’ve been working with the team at Splash Damage for close to four years now on Gears Tactics.
